Narrated in al-Mustadrak from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The gaze of the one who will blow the Trumpet (the angel Israfeel) has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne (of Allah), ready (to blow it), in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks, as if his eyes are two shining stars”
(Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1078)
Taken by Maurizio Pignotti.
Out of curiosity, he takes a peek.
Out of modesty, she looks away. Two in love but cannot say.
She has been saving herself for the one and only.
And in her eyes he can see innocence and purity.Out of this, his desire grows, the fire in him almost shows.
He keeps his distance, stays far…

Mash’Allah!
Breath taking.
Mashallah! I would love to have that view during salah everyday!

Okay. Okay. I smiled on my way out, LOLOL. I think, in my opinion, this was the BEST meeting out of the past two meetings we had so far. Everything was just – perfect! The timing was precise; the organization was quite satisfying, and the communication with the students successful. It wasn’t a mess like the last two meetings we had, though they were not a total mess. They were just off here and there at points.
I got to have an idea at who were consistently showing up. We had a drastic drop in the number of boys. But some kept coming in minutes after the meeting had started. There were 16 girls and 10 boys. We had a lot more boys attend before.
We had our final ice breaker. This was our part two on getting to know each other better. We all sat in a circle. No tables. Just us in chairs. :)
The activity was “speed dating.” Not that actual dating. More like speed friending? Basically, every other person had to get up and switch to get to know, or sort of interview the person that did not get up. Confused? Okay, I’ll explain here.
The picture (crappy, I know lolol) basically shows it all. The red represents the people who had to get up and change seats after 60 seconds was up. During those 60 seconds, you got to ask their name, hobbies, what they like or dislike, one thing they want to do before they die, and so on. When you were done, you got up and change seats going to the right to the following person (red circle). The people who were sitting down (black circles) also got to interview the people moving at the same time. So it wasn’t just a one interview thing.
I got to know people better and clearer. I actually remembered names this time! People were listening though I had to shush others at times. But overall, it wasn’t a messy meeting. It was a breeze. I was just so happy that it turned out so easy and efficient. People were participating and looked like they had fun.
I gotta say. I was pretty nervous about this meeting in particular. Hours before it started, I wasn’t in the mood. Well, I was, but I just didn’t feel the spirit. I didn’t think we could accomplish the meeting and I thought it would just collapse. But mashAllah, with the help of the Almight, it turned out splendid.
